The 2 Dan's are at it one more time

It's been a crazy summer the 2 Dan's love hanging out together. I just have gotten a kick out of it. And you can't forget Eddie Ray. The other night we had Danny and a friend over. Talk about a loud night. The testosterone level in the house was crazy. Anyway to make a long story short we skipped scripture study and family prayer with all the chaos. Eddie Ray comes up to me yesterday morning and says mom"When other people spend the night can we still have scriptures and prayer? Cause I missed it. I like it when we swim, ride bikes, have scriptures, and pray, then a movie. "Did you know Heavenly Father doesn't like when we make mistakes on accident? He gets really mad when we do it on purpose?" The a child said "Jesus Christ" in a not nice tone. Eddie Ray showed him the pict and said" That is Jesus Christ. And our Heavenly Father doesn't like it when we use their names like that. But there's his picture so you'll know what he looks like" Then for breakfast the friend took a bite before prayer, Eddie Ray pipes up, don't you believe in God?" The kid says"That is a personal question" So Eddie Ray says I guess than that is a NO! It's awesome to see such thoughts coming out of a child that for a wile I wondered if he had turret's disease. (Just kidding) But honestly I wondered if they ever heard anything I say. But I must admit the daily biking withe boys is good for me, even though beingg an overweight smoker sometimes I feel my age. Oh new idea. The snowtubes for sledding our awesome in the pool.

Hillbilly Hell

This is my affectionate name for our home. Does everyone's children use shovels and various elements of destruction on their yards. Mine do! They created a flood zone, how fun.
Then of course my house pays the price.
Not near as bad, Muddy trouble one. But still discouraging, we were suppose to pick up Rick and they needed to bathe still.

The Newset Member of our Family -ANNA

Anna was the Hayes is dog, and we Thank them for such a welcome delight, Anna is a funny and energetic girl. She loves to run. She was so excited about her pool after her Dad Blackie showed it wasn't a giant watering dish. Then she played in it for a long time. All labs need their own pool. Especially when their black. We have dubbed her Bandanna Anna. She is one of Blackie's first litter with Nala. It's proving to be a challenge turning a outside Dog into an inside dog. She can't remember playing with kittens as a pup, so she prefers to terrorize them. Right now we Have for pets~ Blackie, Ana, Cats ~Darcy, Patches, Eddie Ray Cat, Emma Snowflake, & Lucky plus 10 fish and 2 toads. I don't think I can handle much more wild Life! And little Dan asked for a bird. I'm learning the word NO. We did have to release Ricky's turtle to the wild it wasn't eating. Anyone needing a kitten? In about 3 weeks the 3 Kitty's will be ready to leave home. And leave they will. Despite protest from the children.

I don't think Dan was impressed with Ana's planting abilities. She kept laying down in his flower bed while he tried to plant. Of course I laughed, because she was oblivious to what could possibly be distressing Dan. It was such soft ground and Dan could reach over and pet her.

Crazy I added the same pict twice, sorry! But the boys had a great time between biking, swimming, riding the mustang, sitting by the fire, and the moonlight swim. (Which was a little chilly!) They acted like they only had one day to play for the rest of their lives. Just busy busy busy. They wanted to make it a two day event. But alas we had to get back to tasks at hand. Hopefully he can come over again soon.

Demolition at Ivan & Chantel's

Demolition of the oldest edition at Ivan & Chantel's place went well, plus gave the cousin's a chance to hang out together. They all seemed like old friends. They loved the trampoline jumping. Litlle Dan & Danny enjoyed hammering apart parts of the house best. To bad they liked to make their sections sooo little. They make a great team. Ivan traded in his little john deere tractor from childhood for a much bigger toy a backhoe.
