My first Car show Entrant and the Push Up Brawlers

 Our 1st Roller Derby

 We were sad the push up brawlers lost 93 to 150 some.  Oh well it was a new experience and it was fun.

 Took 3 moves to get me to the right spot.  No trophies.Nut it was fun.

 My friend Jenny's car can we say sweet.  No trophies for her.  I felt she was robbed.  The engine is sweet.

 Due to the winds running clse to 30mph and the temps at 37 for the moen.  Many chose to keep the hoods down.

 I got these pics just for Marianne.  Reminds me of her 2nd car.

 Tough to chose between the cuda and the camaro.  I loved both.  Finally went with Camaro.

Braking School Records

 Dan got 2 awards One for breaking Central's High Jump Record of 4'10"
Then with 3 others in the 4x200 they broke the record with 1:51:32
He is currently working on 5' for the high jump

Easter Festivities begin

 Ray man plays with his food.

The Easter Bunny is done at our house.  Ray man snuck in my room and found all the treasures.  Now he's angry I wasnt honest about the bunny.  Momma Bunny is sad the traditions are gone. This year were going to go for an egg scramble versus an egg hunt.

Dan's Track meet 4-18

High Jump 4'10"
4x2 finished 1st
4x1 finished 3rd
So proud, I love to watch him race.  Forgot my camera.  He has really improved this year.

National Poem day

The Duck

As I reached the crest of the bridge

I saw the most magnificent duck all alone

I watched the duck making slow progress against the rough current.

I think how overwhelming life can appear at  times

It takes a little determination to get where we're going.

I was intrigued as the duck at the bank of the river

took time to bob and flip over

seemingly unaware of the cold brisk wind ruffling it's feathers

teaching once again it is not the destination that is important

but the journey we all travel.
