Farewell June Bug

We were saddened as last week June Bug left us due to a lung infection he was being treated for took his life.  His crazy antics will be missed.  He was a fun loving kitten.  Who enjoyed putting way to many holes in my waterbed.  We knew we would be saying good bye soon as we can not have 3 cats and a dog.  In his 5 short months he definately touched the hearts of many.  Miss you June Bug<3

Lil Dan is in Heaven

So excited the Grims loaned us their dirt bike til Ray man out grows it. Only condition we must do upkeep and Dan must consistently attend church and scouts.

Dad works on carb.  The boys  are so excited.  Cant wait to get to Cattle Congress to try it out.

It was a great visit.  Rick is progressing well.  This is the longest his hair has been in forever.  It looks really good.

Lessons I'm learning

I want to help the world.  I tend to over extend myself.  I try to be super woman.  Funny it never works out.  When things go wrong I find a way to blame myself.
Lil Dan set me straight today.  I told him I had not been being the mom he knew, and I was sorry.  His response Mom nobody thinks straight in chaos.  It is not possible. You did do the best you could. Funny exactly what the Drs have been saying.  I guess I needed to hear it from someone who lived it and understood.  Rick will be going to an academy for at least 6 mos to 1 1/2 years.  In that time I hope we all move forward in healing.
I talked with my bishop, I can wear jeans to church.  Thats a good thing Im not ready for the whole dress thing.  He reminded me that church is not for perfect people (who are they?) its more of a rehab.  Fantastic!
I understand RAD very well.  Now if we could get others to understand it would be great.
My thought for the day ~ Oh my goodness how did this happen, I am human.  They say never to take RAD personally, I understand that.  My question is for those who came up with that, have they ever lived with a RAD?  Because a RAD goes straight for the heart.  But realize those same children are just trying to be safe the only way they know how.
